Cubic graphs as model of real systems
In this paper we deal with cubic graphs, i.e. regular graphs of degree 3,
and with at most cubic graphs, i.e. graphs with maximum degree 3. We
recall two basic transformation techniques that are used to generate these
graphs starting from a smaller graph, either cubic or general. Moreover we
show some applications. To complete this brief survey we present the state
of the art of a specific problem on these graphs: their orthogonal drawing.
