I used to work on abstract complexity, models of systolic computations, formal languages and automata theory. More recently my research interests are in Combinatorics.
Emanuela Fachini is a Professor of the Computer Science Department at the University of Rome "Sapienza" since 1997.
She received her degree in Mathematics in 1975.
From 1976 to 1984 she was a research associate in the "Dipartimento di Informatica e Applicazioni" of the University of Salerno,
where she became Full Professor in 1987.
In 1990 she moved to the "Dipartimento di Informatica, Sistemi e Produzione" of the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata'.
