Degree in Computer Engineering, summa cum laude, in 1997 and
PhD in Computer Science and Control Engineering in 2001, from the
University of Rome 'Tor Vergata'.

She was researcher at the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni in 1997, visiting researcher at
the University of Texas at Dallas in 1999-2000,
and resarch assistant at the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata' in 2000-2002.

She joined the Computer Science Department of the University of Rome 'La Sapienza'
as assistant professor in March 2002.
